Dining Spotlight - by Melissa Kory
Taqueria Tsunami, Marietta Square’s Latin-Asian Kitchen, has offered fusion tacos, sangrias and a variety of menu items to visitors for over a year. Take a closer look at the restaurant’s staff, atmosphere, menu, promotions and more.
“We absolutely adore the Marietta Square community,” Alexis Aleshire, Marketing, Taqueria Tsunami, said. “Our guests are very passionate about the area, and as a business we strive to be support the local charitable efforts.”
In July, they will be opening a new location at the Shoppes of Atlanta in Woodstock.
Patch: How would you describe your business? What is the atmosphere/style like?
Aleshire: Being a taqueria, we wanted to keep the atmosphere in the restaurant casual, but we also wanted it to have a contemporary look and feel as well. The combination of the wood and stone, warm elements complements the bright colors of our logo and interior design. Taqueria Tsunami takes traditional Latin and Asian cuisine and fuses the flavors in every menu item, crafted by chef/owner, Scott Kinsey.
