Taqueria Tsunami Latin-Asian Kitchen presented The Georgia Red Cross a donation in the amount of $3000 to fund local disaster relief efforts.  Throughout the year, Taqueria Tsunami allocates a portion of select taco sales towards an annual donation to the cause. 

“It has been a remarkable first year in operation, and we are happy to be able to give back to the community that supports us,” stated Scott Kinsey, Owner and Chef of Taqueria Tsunami.

The check presentation took place at Taqueria Tsunami in Marietta Square located at 70 South Park Square, Marietta, GA 30060. 

“We’re grateful that Taqueria Tsunami Latin-Asian kitchen is making its annual donation to the Georgia Red Cross, “ said Terri Badour Duckett, CEO of Georgia’s Red Cross. “This enables the Red Cross to respond immediately by providing food, shelter and other essentials to individuals and families impacted by local disasters.”

Taqueria Tsunami is paying tribute to National Taco Day by offering guests a free taco all day on October 4, 2012.  Guests who dine in at Taqueria Tsunami’s Marietta or Buckhead location can purchase one taco and get the second taco free this Thursday.   

“Our concept is derived from the love of tacos and bringing flavors together.   We hope that this offer will entice our customers to celebrate, and go beyond their comfort zones and try something new,” stated Scott Kinsey, Chef and Owner of Taqueria Tsunami.  

Taqueria Tsunami offers a variety of Latin-Asian fusion 13 tacos, all made with fresh ingredients and served on a preservative-free, all natural tortilla.  The shrimp Tempura Taco received the Taste of Marietta’s International Cuisine award at this year’s festival.
